We know it takes a lot of courage to try a new place of worship, or dip your toe in the waters of faith with an already established community.

You might be wondering: What will the worship service be like?

Radiant! The service begins as you enter the Sanctuary and prepare your hearts and minds for worship by greeting, sharing and laughing with one another. Or, you might choose to sit quietly and listen to the music. While both worship services follow the same basic order, each has a distinct character. Try each of them out and decide which is best for you.

Service begins at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday morning. If you have questions or concerns before or after visiting, please contact us so we can assist you in finding a spiritual home.

More questions

...and a few more answers!

  • What will the music be like?

Beautiful! We do not limit our congregational music to any one style (traditional, contemporary, etc.), our talented music leaders employ excellent music of every genre as they weave the classics with new favorites. On any given Sunday the music will be led by our pipe organ, Steinway piano, acoustic guitars, harp, or voices alone.

  • How long are the worship services?

The Sunday morning worship services are usually about an hour.

  • What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Some men wear suits, others wear slacks and golf shirts. Some women wear dresses, others wear slacks and blouses. We're just glad you're joining us!

  • do i have to be a member to take communion?

No. This is not our table; this is Christ’s table! All baptized men, women and children are invited to celebrate the sacrament.

  • where do my children go during worship?

Children of all ages are welcome in worship! There are special children's worship bags in the narthex.

Childcare is available for infants through children who are in Kindergarten. The childcare room for infants and children up to age 3 is in room 106 (the yellow room), which is located at the back of the Education Building. Children age 3 through Kindergarten are cared for in room 504 of the Family Life Center.

Many of our young children participate in worship until after the Conversation with Children. After that, one of our parent volunteers or our Director of Children's Ministries will meet the children in the narthex and take them to the appropriate room for extended care until worship service is over. Parents may pick up their children after worship, but please let us know if someone other than you will be picking up your child.

  • where do i park?

You may park on Jefferson Street in front of the church, on Earl Garrett Street or Washington Street (on opposite sides of the church), or in the back parking lot which gives you easy access to the Education Building and the Family Life Center.

  • what if i want to know more?

Please speak with one of our ushers, pastors, or elders. The elders gather at the chancel each Sunday after worship to greet visitors and new members. Also, please feel free to contact any of our staff during the week. They're here for all of us!
