Living the presence of the spirit

For these next six Wednesdays I will be unfolding for you this new theology, this new (I should say, “ancient new”) framework by which to understand the Holy Spirit. I can assure that it won’t turn you into a fanatic. But I also can predict that you will say something like “Wow. This is so ….” as I’ve heard from so many others.

Wednesday at 5:00 PM in Ryan Hall or by Zoom

April 14-May 19

(Books are available in the church office for $11 each)

Testimony: Vocabulary of Faith

This new curriculum, from the Presbyterian Outlook, is designed to free people to live their Reformed faith by remembering, reclaiming, and rearticulating what we believe about who God is and who we are so the patterns of our lives embody the liberating love and grace of Jesus Christ.

RAcial Reconciliation

Continuing our discussions and learning of Racial Equity, we will meet on Thursday's, at 10:00 am by Zoom. We will use various materials including a four-week study on Racism and Reconciliation. We welcome those who participated in Be the Bridge last semester and all of those who wish to join us this time. Be the Bridge is not a prerequisite to this class. This class will confront racism as a theological matte

Rediscoveing the importance of christmas

His parents gave him the name Jesus. But the prophets, the shepherds, the wise men, and the angels addressed him by other names. They called him Lord, Messiah, Savior, Emmanuel, Light of the World, and Word Made Flesh. In Incarnation: Rediscovering the Significance of Christmas, best-selling author Adam Hamilton examines the names of Christ used by the gospel writers, exploring the historical and personal significance of his birth. This Advent season church families will come together to remember what’s important. In the face of uncertainty and conflict, Christians reclaim the Christ child who brings us together, heals our hearts, and calls us to bring light into the darkness. Now more than ever, we invite you to reflect upon the significance of the Christ child for our lives and world today!

Be the Bridge

Join us live each Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 am on Zoom. You may order your book from Amazon or download it to your Kindle. Please email Nancy ( or Judy ( know that you wish to be added to the class roster.

It's Complicated

Based on Dr. Haberer's newest book by that title, this eye-opening study will invite you to address the disconnect that so often happens when "the will of God" we once held dear and thought was clear gets disrupted by questions, contradictions, and confusions. How do we understand and follow God's will in such a complicated world?

This study, which will be team taught by Pastor Jack and Elder Marcus Goodyear, will lay out a revolutionary, yet common sense framework that promises to open the teachings of Scripture in new ways for you.
