Sunday School is at 10 am MOST Sundays in the Youth Room, located at the back of the Family Life Center. We read scripture, ask tough questions, share our insights, and learn together.
Evening Youth group is from 5-7:30 pm MOST Sundays. Meet in the Family Life Center and Youth Room for dinner and fellowship. No two Sundays look the same; our general schedule is gathering time, dinner, group activity, and closing by sharing our highs, lows, and what we are looking forward to.
5th Sundays: Youth are the ushers & greeters for our 11 am worship service. Instead of Sunday School and Evening Youth, we gather in the Narthex at 10 am and then go to lunch following the service.
Check the monthly Youth Calendar or main church calendar for updates. You can also contact Emily, at emcallister@fpckerrville.org for more information.

September 23-25 – Seven youth, Keaton, Harper, Jacob, Jadice, Parker, Timothy and June, along with John and Emily joined youth groups from across Mission Presbytery at John Knox Ranch for Main Event! They spent the weekend wrestling with the theme “Brick by Brick: Rebuilding God’s World.” What does it look like to support each other and our community? Rev. Kathy Lee-Cornell, the Director of Partnership for Disaster Response for the Synod of the Sun, spent time telling us about her role and how Presbyterian Disaster Assistance meets the needs of communities after a disaster.
They played, swam, energized, ate, laughed, and worshiped together. Rev. Laurie Palmer, the Stated Clerk of Mission Presbytery, joined our gathering to oversee communion during Sunday morning worship. Keaton Mitchell was one of three youth serving communion. Faithful youth leaders, John and Emily are so thankful to have been able to participate in this weekend and would like to extend deep gratitude to FPC for always supporting youth programming and their participation in the Church.
In addition to our weekly meetings, we have special events, trips, and mission projects.
All students 6th-12th grade are welcome! If you are new in town or looking for a church home, we hope that you and your students will check out what’s happening here at FPC and join us!
In late July, First Presbyterian Kerrville sent six youth and three adults to the Montreat Conference Center in North Carolina. The Montreat Youth Conference was a unique gathering of about 500 young people from all over the country for a week of study, worship, and recreation. The theme was “More Than Enough.”
