Children's Corner preschool

Our Children’s Corner Preschool is a daily ministry to preschool children in our community and their families. The program is designed to help children discover an interest and joy in learning, to nurture children’s spiritual growth, and to foster feelings of security, success, and responsibility. All children are welcome regardless of race, gender, religion, or economic status.


Children's Corner Preschool is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (TDPRS). 

We comply with their minimum standards for Child Care and all other applicable local, state and federal laws.

As an extended ministry of the First Presbyterian Church, the Children's Corner Preschool is accountable to

and supervised by Children's Corner Committee and Session.


At Children's Corner, we follow the Strategic Learning curriculum,

in addition to fostering creative activities that are developmentally appropriate for each age group.  


Class available are as follows: Ages in each class change with the growth of our program.

Tuition is as follows:

$75.00 annual registration fee

$10.00 sibling break

$15.00 church member discount

$50.00 summer registration fee (for summer only enrollment) 


Infants and Wobbler I

7:30-5:30 $655.00 per month  


Wobbler II; Toddler I & II

7:30-5:30 $585.00 per month  


Pre-K I & II; Kinder-Readiness

7:30-5:30 $565.00 per month  

7:30-12:00 $355.00 per month  

12:00-5:30 $355.00 per month

daily schedule

Our daily schedule includes, but is not limited to:

  • activities that promote fine and gross motor skills
  • language arts
  • creative arts
  • science/discovery
  • pre-math
  • outdoor play
  • and, Bible focus.

Special activites include chapel, music and movement, library, P.E., Spanish, and other activities that enhance our program.
